Free Clothes Repair Café in Adamstown this Friday

This Friday 11th September (1-4pm) Adamstown Community Centre will host the first in a series of Repair Cafés which will take place over the coming months.

This Friday's FREE event will focus on clothing & textiles with patching holes, taking up hems, repairing zips & replacing buttons just part of what is on offer.

Please bring along your broken or worn  clothes you no longer wear  and work alongside experienced repairers from the Rediscovery Centre . Learn practical skills, extend the life of your belongings and keep useful items out of landfill.

This event is being run by Adamstown Tidy Towns working together with Lucan Tidy Towns & Adamstown Big Tree Community Group. It is being facilitated by The Rediscovery Centre and proudly sponsored by SDCC.
